Liner Notes:

What is a "Bob Crane"? Well, to begin with, he's a successful actor (star of Hogan's Heroes); he was also successful as a disc-jockey-interviewer (on KNX-CBS Radio in Los Angeles); he's a comedian (though he won't admit it); he writes a little, thinks a lot . . . and plays drums. (Plays drums??!! Yes, he's also a musician, and a good one.)

I first heard Bob play drums several years ago on The Donna Reed Show. Most stars usually sing or recite on records, but here was a chance to sign a star who could do everything. And play drums!

At the recording sessions, Bob was always "on." Jokes flew thick, fast and funny. The most talented studio musicians were his audience, and Bob had them enjoying every session.

If you like your music with a sense of humor, then this album is it.Bob Crane Playing the Drums3

The best of TV's comedy shows provide the themes, and Bob Crane provides the sense of humor, some of the voices . . . and the drums.

Sit back and laugh with Thursday Night At The Movies. (If you don't laugh, we promise we'll never do it again.) Tap your feet to the themes from The Danny Kaye Show and The Andy Griffith Show (no jokes). Chuckle to 'F' Troop, the themes from The Jackie Gleason Show, Hogan's Heroes, Get Smart, and The Green Hornet. Roar with laughter (we hope) at Candid Camera. And just relax to My Three Sons.
